Al Duca is a real favourite in St James’s for its great Italian food and even better prices

 

A real favourite amongst London’s romantic dining couples, Al Duca is a fantastic Italian restaurant in St James’s. A hugely popular dining destination, the best thing about Al Duca apart from the food are the prices which are incredibly reasonable, The dining room is attractive yet simple at the same time, with terracotta flooring and pretty mosaic tiles, creating just the right ambience for an Italian restaurant. The menu is bursting with delicious Italian dishes spanning every region, where starters includes swordfish carpaccio with black olives or grilled smoked scamorza cheese with aubergines and black olives. Popular main course are the pan fried pork fillet with crispy Parmesan; aubergine and cheese fondue and roast duck breast with braised endive and pine nuts. Don’t forget to try the house dessert, a special pudding made of bananas with hazelnuts and chocolate sorbet which is made to order and simply heavenly. The wine list offers some great choices at really affordable prices too. Although Al Duca is based in one of London’s most exclusive addresses and the food is of a high standard, a meal for two won’t break the bank with prices this reasonable.
