Bringing a touch of Knightsbridge glamour to the City of London, the Harvey Nicols & Prism Restaurant is a stylish destination for a romantic meal in the Square Mile. Situated in the former Bank of New York along the famous Leadenhall Street, the setting is quite sensational. The main Prism restaurant is vast and boasts sky high ceilings and tall columns contrasted with red leather seating and abstract artwork. Although buzzing and lively during the day, evenings see the lights turned down low and the mood change into a more intimate and sophisticated affair. As one would expect from a Harvey Nicols establishment, quality is foremost and the fabulous menu offers a fine array of dishes. Start with langoustines with a warm saffron and langoustine bisque or summer vegetable terrine, tomato, French bean tartare and parmesan crisp and follow with chargrilled swordfish, borlotti bean and sweet pepper ragout and chorizo stuffed baby squid or grouse with Savoy cabbage and truffled bread sauce.
