Lebanese restaurant Kenza is spot on for a dreamy meal for two in the capital

Ultra feminine, you really couldn’t ask for more romantic regalia than rose filled fountains, stairways strewn with rose petals and heady incense smells. Rich and colourful fabrics, pretty beaded lamps and antique brass create an authentic Lebanese scene at Kenza which attracts a regular list of dating diners, each snuggled into the gloriously intimate alcoves. When it comes to the food, authentic Lebanese and Moroccan food is the order of the day with a great range of hot and cold mezze which are perfect for sharing. Try the delicious hummus with lamb confit and pine nuts or the tasty fatoush salad. Main course include a good selection of tajines such as chicken with preserved lemon, saffron, baby potatoes and green olives as well as some great stews and grilled meat and fish. The wine list features some interesting Lebanese wines and champagne is always popular.
