Romantic dining is at its pinnacle at the legendary London restaurant La Pont de la Tour. This magnificent restaurant puts a capital R into the word romance with its stunning location overlooking London’s iconic Tower Bridge as well as the rest of the capital’s skyline. But it’s not only the outstanding location that gives this superb restaurant it’s reputation as one of London’s leading restaurants, the Modern European menu is outstanding in every sense. Head Chef Lee Bennett takes much inspiration from French cuisine to create exceptional dishes such as grilled diver caught scallops with cauliflower purée and Madeira sauce; roast guinea fowl with braised Savoy cabbage and foie gras and the piece de resistance - the spectacular seafood platter. The wine list is overseen by Head Sommelier Nicolas Clerc, Ruinart’s Sommelier of the Year in 2007, and is understandably fabulous. Old and New world wines sit next to very rare grand crus. Le Pont de la Tour oozes luxury, sophistication and romance and is a true jewel in the crown of the London restaurant scene.
