Enjoy a romantic journey through Morocco at the sumptuous Mom restaurant just off Regent’s Street

 

Take a romantic journey to Marrakech with a meal at the fabulous Momo restaurant just off London’s Regent Street. This amazing Moroccan restaurant is one of the best North African dining rooms in the capital and has built a large list of regulars since opening its doors back in 1997. The décor creates just the right ambience for a romantic soirée, with low seating and very low lighting, sumptuous fabrics and cushions and pretty lanterns. The Tea Room which can be found just next door to the main restaurant sells all sorts of original Moroccan artefacts that you can take home to recreate the scene. As for the food, the menu offers a superb selection of traditional Moroccan dishes with signature dishes like the wood pigeon pastilla (filo filled with sweet and spiced wood pigeon, almonds, cinnamon and orange confit) or couscous mechoui (lamb shoulder literally falling off the bone with the most amazing cous cous). After your meal head on into the basement Kemia Bar for a Momo special cocktail and round off an exotic evening of romance.
