A favourite on the Covent Garden dining scene for many years, Mon Plaisir offers a timeless French dining experience which is particularly popular amongst the capitals’ dining couples. Authenticity is the key in every aspect, with original French artefacts providing the brasserie style décor, waiting staff in typical Parisian style uniform of black and white with bow ties, and a superb French brasserie menu. There are four dining rooms to choose from, each providing a wonderful intimacy that is just the ticket for romantic meal for two. Start off with some delicious freshly baked bread and perhaps a starter of asparagus topped with poached egg, duck and foie gras pâté followed by coq au vin de Bourgogne or wild boar shepherds pie with crushed chestnuts and cranberry sauce. The cheeseboard is incredible and spans each region of France and the wine list is first class as one would expect. Mon Plaisir is a sure fire winner on the romantic dining front, offering all the right ingredients for an enjoyable meal with your loved one.
