Fine dining and romance doesn’t come much better than a meal at Gordon Ramsay’s Murano

 

For a fabulous romantic meal for two in London’s Mayfair, head to Murano, Gordon Ramsay’s Michelin starred Italian restaurant headed up by one of the UK’s top female Chefs Angela Hartnett. Opened in 2008, Murano quickly impressed and gained a coveted Michelin star within months. With acclaimed Chef Angela Hartnett at the helm, Murano serves exquisite and innovative Italian cuisine that puts the fine into fine dining in every way. A beautiful setting in which to enjoy an intimate evening, Murano is an elegant dining room with hand painted fresco wall panels and incredible glass blown lighting. Hartnett’s menu is heavenly with dishes such as raviolo of Cromer crab; caramelised veal sweetbreads with pickled quince, dandelion salad and a honey and mustard dressing and Gressingham duck breast with confit leg, mustard fruits and potato cakes. The special truffle menu will add a touch of luxury to any meal for two. Vegetarians have their very own menu to choose from too, meaning that everyone is considered. The wine list is, as one would imagine, a very fine selection, but also offers many wines by the glass, always a welcome extra. Murano is oh so worthy of its various culinary accolades and offers the perfect destination for a memorable and fabulous romantic meal.
