A romantic meal for two at the legendary Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in London’s Chelsea is a culinary experience of a lifetime. The only restaurant in London to boast three Michelin stars, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay is the crème de la crème of fine dining and is a world class establishment. Opened since 1998, Ramsay’s flagship restaurant seats just 45 guests and is a supremely elegant and intimate dining room designed by the acclaimed designer David Collins. Taking care of the front of house is the charismatic Jean-Claude Breton, one of the best in the business, who will ensure your romantic meal is everything it should be. In the kitchen, Executive Chef Mark Askew and his team produce breathtakingly perfect dishes from an outstanding French Haute Cuisine menu including slow braised pied de cochon pressed and then pan fried with ham knuckle and served with poached quail’s egg and hollandaise sauce; pigeon with grilled polenta, shallots and a golden beetroot and date sauce or roasted fillet of line caught turbot with langoustines, linguine and wild mushrooms. Granny smith parfait with honeycomb, bitter chocolate and champagne foam makes for a fitting finale. As one would imagine, the wine list is out of this world and includes some very rare Bordeaux’s and Burgundies as well as 72 different champagnes. So very worthy of its three Michelin stars and a true legend in every sense, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay is the very pinnacle of fine romantic dining and is world class.
