If fashionable and glamourous is your perfect romantic setting, then a meal at Scott’s of Mayfair, the most famous seafood and oyster restaurant in London, is the perfect choice. This legendary Mayfair restaurant is supremely glamourous and sexy, with a huge oak panelled dining room complete with a decadent green onyx topped bar with a stingray skin covered frontage and the most impressive three metre display of crustacea. A huge chandelier designed by Patrice Butler overlooks the scene and rich burgundy coloured banquettes provide the seating. Scott’s of Mayfair has attracted a whole host of stars over the years from film stars to writers and politicians and was the favourite haunt of Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond in the 50’s. The fish and seafood is outstanding at this renowned restaurant and is the real crowd drawer. Enjoy the freshest seafood, oysters and caviar, all of the highest quality as well as more modern dishes such as cod with chorizo and stargazey pie. Meat eaters are not forgotten with the likes of wild duck, Savoy cabbage and chestnuts. Scott’s of Mayfair is world class for seafood and is well worthy of its reputation as one of London’s most glamourous restaurants and is perfect for a sexy and romantic meal.
