If it’s a luxurious London location you require to make your romantic meal for two complete, then you can’t go wrong with a table at the wonderful Park restaurant in the beautiful Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Knightsbridge. One of the capital’s top hotels, The Mandarin Oriental is a stunning establishment and The Park certainly reflects the class of its location. The dining room has been designed by Adam Tihany of New York City and features neutral tones contrasted by pretty emeralds and jades with the finest furnishings and bespoke English china. The views across Hyde Park are exceptional and really add something special to any dining experience here, particularly those of the romantic kind. As for the menu, Executive Chef Chris Tombling has created a fantastic Asian inspired menu which includes dishes such as Hainan chicken cooked in stock with lemongrass, ginger, pak choi, rice, broth, soy and chilli sauce; black Alaskan cod marinated in miso, sake and mirin with Japanese ginger and wok fried Dover sole fillets. Pre or post meal drinks can be enjoyed in the Mandarin Bar, which is open until 2am, meaning that you can really make a night of it. The Park has all the right ingredients to ensure a delightfully romantic meal in the capital.
